Brief Description: Royal Western India Turf Club Limited is a premier racing club based at Mumbai in Maharashtra. Members of RWITC are drawn from the various facets of society. Guests of a valid member are also permitted in to the member's enclosure. A member of RWITC gets reciprocal rights to visit any other race club in India and are eligible for entry at most race courses in the world. Members are also entitled to use the three lawns at Mahalaxmi Race Course for hosting marriage functions, parties and product launches. Apart from Mumbai and Pune, RWITC also organizes races at Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mysore, Ooty and Delhi. The Club at Pune has a Club House with residential, catering and other facilities.
